Cali rapper 40 Glocc is living the dream, after a rough childhood in a section of San Bernardino, California known as “The Zoo”. By 1997 his group The Zoo Crew (40 Glocc, K-9 and Natural Born) had dropped their first album produced by Tony and Julio G. The album became an underground hit, and soon 40 had his first solo deal with Empire Music Werks/BMG. 40 Glocc released his first solo effort, “The Jackal” which featured a list of West Coast talent - Ras Kass, Bad Azz, Kurupt, Spice 1 and Tray Dee – and production from the best Cali had to offer: long-time supporter Dr. Dre, Battle Cat and Protégé. He was also signed to Mobb Deep’s imprint Infamous under G-Unit. 40 now hopes to make his label Zoo Life Entertainment something he can grow old with. He is on his grind dropping tracks featuring artists such as Tony Yayo, Lil’ Scrappy and Akon.
