Gail grew up in the Valley what was called the 818, and spent her childhood traveling between Los Angeles and New York visiting family. Gail fell in love with music at a young age. This was down to the fact that her parents had a record company which distributed through Capital records, and her sister was working for Ruthless records when Eazy E and Bones Thugs N Harmony were with the label and they all inspired her, from that point on Gail started writing and never looked back.
Gail was also given other inspiration from her godmother Teena Marie who became very big in the eighties, Gail had spent some time over at the Death Row label where 2Pac sat her down and told her that she has talent. He told her to just stay focused on her life and to not let men throw her off her game. He also taught her to not let people take advantage of her, he looked her in the eye and said "You can do this. I see it in you." When Pac passed, Gail realized that she owed it to him to follow her dream.
In 1996 Gail started working on Infamous/G-Unit project and was touring with them, while on tour she had written over 40 songs.
Gail also has a clothing and jewelry line. It's called Lady Godiva, so be on the look out for that.
